Georgia Center

Corporate Event

It was a well-executed, large-scale conference that required both detailed planning and seamless coordination. Georgia Soil and Water’s “Erosion Day” brought together over 350 attendees for a two-day event focused on education, connection, and a smooth, professional experience from start to finish.

My role began behind the scenes, working closely with the sales team to review contracts, past communication, and all event details gathered during the booking process. After being introduced to the client, I took over as the main point of contact, guiding them through each step and ensuring everything was clearly organized and easy to understand. We scheduled an initial meeting to align on expectations, walk through logistics, and build a plan that supported their full conference itinerary.

The first day focused on setup, allowing time to finalize room layouts, AV needs, registration flow, and all event materials. With multiple moving parts, it was important that every detail was confirmed and in place ahead of the main event day. The second day was a full conference schedule, requiring precise coordination of timing, transitions, and guest experience.

Throughout the event, I worked closely with internal teams to ensure everything ran smoothly—from meeting spaces and audiovisual setup to food and beverage service. With a group of this size, maintaining clear communication and staying ahead of the schedule was key to keeping the day on track.

This was a repeat client, which made the process even more rewarding. Being able to build on a strong relationship and continue delivering a consistent, high-quality experience is something I take a lot of pride in.

From initial planning to final execution, this event reflected the level of organization, communication, and attention to detail that goes into every program at the Georgia Center.
